Clear grade (no knot) kiln dried (for stability) Coastal Western Red Cedar

This lumber starts as 8/4 stock (1-1/2"+ thick) and is machined smooth, glued, screwed and plugged together (see polka dots in photo) before being finish sanded.

After color staining or painting these columns appear to be one solid piece of high grade cedar.

Trim base and/or post caps are added or our unique Lantern Post Cap Receptacles are used when as a post mounted lantern post.
